Dear Gig Wage Community,

As we observe the 23rd anniversary of September 11th, we pause to honor the heroes and remember the lives lost on this day. It’s a moment to reflect on the strength, unity, and compassion that emerged from one of the most challenging times in our history.

On that day, we witnessed incredible acts of bravery from first responders—firefighters, police officers, medical personnel, and others—who risked their lives to save others. Their courage serves as a powerful reminder of selflessness and dedication to the greater good. We are deeply grateful for their service and for those who continue to protect and serve our communities today.

The aftermath of 9/11 also brought people together in extraordinary ways. Communities united, offering support, love, and hope to one another. Even in the face of great tragedy, we found strength in our shared humanity.

As we remember this day, we reflect on the nearly 3,000 lives lost and extend our thoughts to the families who were forever changed. Their resilience inspires us to carry forward the values of solidarity, empathy, and kindness—not just today, but every day.

At Gig Wage, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting one another. Today, as we honor the heroes of 9/11, let’s commit to living out these values in our daily lives and continue building a stronger, more compassionate world.

Warm regards,

Team Gig Wage
